These beautiful indigo linen throws were inspired by the exotic travels of textile designer Caroline Z. Hurley. Each one is an exploration in scale, color, and rhythm, and brought to life by skilled makers in the United States. The throws are individually block printed by hand with non-toxic acrylic ink. These multi-purpose textiles make the perfect picnic blanket, tablecloth or beach towel. They are meant be used-well and loved, and improve with each wash.
Measures approximately 59” long x 36.5” wide.
For painter and textile designer, Caroline Z. Hurley, “home has always been a work of art.” She was born in Memphis, educated at the Rhode Island School of Design, and is continuously inspired by her travels abroad. Following one trip to Bali, her paintings took the form of textiles and she started printing shapes on linen. Her company now exclusively produces with a cooperative of Guatemalan artisans in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
