A two-volume series of photographs by Robert Adams from his mid-1980’s exploration of Colorado’s Pawnee National Grassland. Adams would venture to the reserve, experiencing the stillness and vast open spaces where occasionally his wife and dog would appear within his frames. A New York Times article accurately put, “Robert Adams’ pictures are not designed to be overtly political, but like any deeply felt images they are capable of reorganizing the way we perceive the world.” Adam’s way of capturing infinite horizons is timeless and a beautiful portrayal of changing landscapes.
