Heavy pear-shaped vase in a brown speckled glaze. Hand-built using a pinching technique. Due to the handmade nature, each vase will vary in size and glaze.
Approximate measurement: 5" tall x 2" opening diameter x 3 1/2" at widest point.
Annie Raysse was born and raised in California with a graduate degree from the NYU studio art department. An artist of various mediums, Annie has concentrated on pottery in recent years. She is best known for her organic hand made pieces that blur the line between sculpture and functional art. Annie draws inspiration from the California coasts using shells, coral, and sun-faded color palettes.
