Elegantly shaped small wood cutting board, made from sustainably harvested species. Handcrafted by local San Francisco wood worker, Luke Bartels. Each board is meant to be well-loved and used, simply oil with a natural cutting board oil after washing.

Luke Bartels uses locally salvaged and milled wood. Each design is focused on respecting and representing the qualities of the particular material. In addition to traditionally carved pieces, Luke Bartels works with live-edge timbres using a delicate process of preservation that keeps the natural bark and character of the wood, while transforming it into a new and functional household object.
