The Unisex Selvedge Denim Straight Cut is a high-rise jean with a distressed, worn-in look made from Japanese 13.5oz selvedge denim. Featuring a high rise, button fly, belt loops, 5 pocket styling, straight leg, leather Chimala patch at the back. 100% cotton. Made in Japan.
Chimala was found by designer Noriko Machada who strives to create vintage-inspired, workwear-influenced denim. Though she designs out of New York City, all Chimala pieces are produced in Japan, beginning with the weaving of selvedge denim on pre-war shuttle looms, and ending with distressing done by hand.
