Return Policies

General Store is not liable for wear and tear on items purchased from third party retailers. Any concerns regarding the condition or quality of such items should be directed to the respected retailer.

Web Store Return Policy

If you wish to return your purchase, we will gladly issue a store credit or exchange within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with original packaging and tags and with a copy of your packing slip included. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not match these conditions. We do not issue refunds for return items. 

All returns must be pre-approved by General Store. Before shipping back your return, send us an email at online@shop-generalstore.com and let us know which item(s) you are returning. We will issue a return authorization number to be included in your return package. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. All return packages must be insured.

Online purchases may not be returned or exchanged at either of our brick and mortar locations.

Final Sale Items
 
All items that are purchased on sale are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchanges/store credit. Other final sale items include vintage goods, earrings, apothecary, intimates, and swimwear. These items are FINAL SALE, returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
