Shipping

Orders are processed and shipped from our Los Angeles location usually within two to five business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of the order being placed. Transit times are provided by the carrier and vary with package destination. Please note: transit days are an estimate only, and may vary depending on the carrier.  Shipping costs are determined by the weight and size of the items purchased, the method of shipping chosen, and the destination address.

If you receive an item that is damaged please contact us immediately. All damages must be reported within 48 hours upon receiving your order so that we can sort out a refund with the carrier. Please take pictures of the box (all 6 sides) before opening, midway as you unpack and of the final product.

General Store is not responsible for lost, delayed or stolen packages. Please contact your local post office to remedy the situation. In these instances, General Store is not able to freely replace or refund the items, but we will do our best to assist you in sorting out the situation with the carrier. This can in some instances take a few days to a few weeks.  Once a package is tendered to the carrier, many factors are out of our control. If a package is marked as delivered, but missing from the point of delivery, we cannot be held responsible for refunding or replacing.


Shipping within the United States:
We ship with the United States Postal Service to all 50 states and US territories. The shipping methods offered during checkout will differ based on your shipping address and the weight of the items being ordered. All orders are shipped insured and with tracking information. Orders overs $300 will require signature for delivery.


Shipping Internationally:
We ship worldwide! International shipping rates are calculated at check out, please enter in your shipping destination to do so. General Store is not responsible for any extra taxes and fees that may apply once the package arrives in the destination country.  At this time we are not able to provide exact delivery time frames for all destinations.  In addition some international shipments may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee additional duties charges or customs delays. We can suggest for you to contact your local customs office for any additional information.
**LAND x SMM Rugs
LAND x SMM rugs are shipped through Pampa.  Shipping is complimentary for all orders over $250*. For orders under $250, we offer flat-rate pricing for both standard and expedited shipping. A signature is required upon delivery for all orders.  We ship to North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico) via UPS, FedEx, and USPS with trackable service. Outside of the lower 48 (Hawaii & Alaska) please message for shipping rates.

Please note that import taxes and duties may apply to international orders upon arrival in the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by country. We recommend checking with your local customs office for an estimate of any applicable charges before making a purchase.  If the recipient declines to pay the taxes and duties, the item(s) will be returned to us. In such cases, the order will be refunded, minus the original shipping fee and any return shipping costs.
