California native Victoria Morris has been making pottery for over 20 years. She is inspired in part by mid-century Scandinavian forms as well as traditional Japanese aesthetics and craftsmanship. Victoria emphasizes simplicity in form as well as the beauty found in subtle, random imperfections inherent to traditional pottery. Working from her studio in Atwater Village, she throws each piece by hand, creating a variety of functional objects/art pieces that are uniquely her own.
