The Lauren Manoogian Double Face Long Coat is crafted from a softly felted double-face knit with a substantial, layered feel. Part of the brand’s Essential Collection, the coat features a shawl collar and oversized patch pockets. Its minimal construction and long silhouette highlight the texture and structure of the knit. Lauren Manoogian is a knitwear and jewelry designer based in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, she began work on her first jewelry collection, which launched in 2010. Not long after, Manoogian began working on creating knitwear pieces using “antiquated” looms and sustainably sourced organic yarn. Her work both in jewelry and knitwear is informed by her fascination with non-Western concepts of dress and form that speak of her passion for travel, distant locales, and craftsmanship.
