Nancy Pearce creates art and functional objects in cast bronze. Inspired by a desire to elevate the unglamorous but necessary work such as cleaning and caregiving that takes place in the background of art making, Pearce casts everyday objects like dustpans, cassette tapes and toothbrushes in durable yet recyclable bronze, creating a collection of artifacts for future archaeologists.
