The Tufted Cardigan is a sculptural, handloomed knit with Lauren Manoogian’s signature balance of softness and structure. Crafted in Peru from a plush alpaca-wool blend, it features tactile tufted detailing and an easy, enveloping silhouette that feels both artisanal and quietly refined. Designed for layering, it brings warmth, texture, and a lived-in elegance to everyday dressing.
Lauren Manoogian is a knitwear and jewelry designer based in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, she began work on her first jewelry collection, which launched in 2010. Not long after, Manoogian began working on creating knitwear pieces using “antiquated” looms and sustainably sourced organic yarn. Her work both in jewelry and knitwear is informed by her fascination with non-Western concepts of dress and form that speak of her passion for travel, distant locales, and craftsmanship.
